What you’ll do
• Develop and lead the social & influencer marketing program for Venmo—inserting social-first thinking to everything we do
• Manage and mentor a team of social & influencer marketers to deliver their best work and grow their careers

• Lead local site engagement efforts: create an enriched and engaging program for all employees at the site to connect with one another, connect to our values and to connect to areas of interest.
• Manage Site Councils: and work with local cross-functional partners, including site and senior leaders ERGs, internal communications, Wellness Ambassadors, facilities, security and HRBPs to ensure a safe, engaging, and enriched employee environment.
• Monthly check in meetings with all council members
• Proactive preparedness for any site impacts or events
• Collaboration with local volunteers and teams to help drive engagement
• Promote initiatives locally: deliver global, regional, and local campaigns via our communication channels (slack, site newsletters, calendars, digital signage, etc)
• Track employee engagement: ensuring that employees at your site are engaging with all experiences; share engagement reports with stakeholders at your site to encourage participation; leverage data and analysis to track progress against goals, make results-based decisions
• Field employee and community partners queries at your site and liaise with your council on queries when needed
• Collect and share stories of impact and visuals to celebrate your site’s engagement wins
• Build out the new employee engagement recognition program to enable all engagement teams to recognize employees who live behind our values.

Requirements/Skills:
• Leadership Communications: Draft, edits and creatively build communications for the leadership, local employees, and events.

This role is required to be onsite at our Austin facility a minimum of 4 days per week.
Responsibilities:
• Lead local site engagement efforts: create an enriched and engaging program for all employees at the site to connect with one another, connect to our values and to connect to areas of interest.
• Manage Site Councils: and work with local cross-functional partners, including site and senior leaders ERGs, internal communications, Wellness Ambassadors, facilities, security and HRBPs to ensure a safe, engaging, and enriched employee environment.
• Monthly check in meetings with all council members
• Proactive preparedness for any site impacts or events
• Collaboration with local volunteers and teams to help drive engagement
• Promote initiatives locally: deliver global, regional, and local campaigns via our communication channels (slack, site newsletters, calendars, digital signage, etc)
• Track employee engagement: ensuring that employees at your site are engaging with all experiences; share engagement reports with stakeholders at your site to encourage participation; leverage data and analysis to track progress against goals, make results-based decisions
• Field employee and community partners queries at your site and liaise with your council on queries when needed
• Collect and share stories of impact and visuals to celebrate your site’s engagement wins
• Build out the new employee engagement recognition program to enable all engagement teams to recognize employees who live behind our values.
• Support all local teams and use cases to enhance and grow our employee engagement recognition program.
